FRAN: I was born in Hawthorne, Nevada and saved in a little Baptist Church at the age of thirteen. When I was sixteen, I moved to Phoenix, AZ, and attended North Phoenix High School, where I met Jim, whom I later married. We attended Moody Bible Institute together and began missionary service in Italy in 1963.
I work from an office at home, preparing BCM teaching materials in Italian for use in Sunday Schools, VBS, camps, etc. We also publish a series of practical Bible commentaries, to help Italian preachers in their preparation. I usually accompany Jim on speaking engagements, speaking to women’s groups, women’s conferences and helping with a book table.

JIM: I was born in Marion, Indiana and saved at the age of ten. I attended North Phoenix High School, served in the U.S. Navy, graduated from Moody Bible Institute and pursued further studies at Dallas Theological Seminary. In May of 2004, I authored a small book based on my testimony, "Compelled by Love." Our publishing house in Italy published the book in Italian, in 1995. I have also authored a book in Italian on the sects, including Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, New Age and Catholicism.

In 1996, I was named W. European Director for BCM International and for ten years visited BCM missionaries in France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Italy and Spain. My responsibility was to keep in touch with our missionaries in those countries, encourage them, visit them regularly and help them in every way. I resigned from this position in 2006, in order to have more time for ministry in Italy.
I am one of four elders in our local church in Rimini and minister extensively throughout Italy in evangelism and sound Bible teaching. Fran and I together also teach seminars on teacher training and on the family.

We have three children.
CHERIE DEANGELIS, who is married to Joe DeAngelis. Cherie graduated from Moody Bible Institute and got her degree in education at Philadelphia College of Bible. She lives near Philadelphia PA and works for her church as Director of Preschool ministries.
LAUREL CLARK, who received her degree as an electronic engineer from John Brown University. Laurie and her husband, Charles, reside near Minneapolis MN and have four beautiful daughters.
DAVID LINES, earned his Ph.D. in history from Harvard University and is a Professor at the Warwick University in Coventry, England. He is in the Italian department and sometimes visits Italy on behalf of the University. He is married to Grace, a Dutch physical therapist. They have three children, two boys and a girl. The children already speak Dutch, Italian, and English!
All three of our children accepted Christ when very young, and are walking in fellowship with Him.
